Charles joined the SBG Securities team in November 2021 as Head of Financial Research and he covers the South African Banks. Charles has, for several years, been a regular feature among the highly-rated analysts in both the Financial Mail and Institutional Investor surveys. His 20+ years of banking experience include sell-side coverage of the SA banks at Citi and Macquarie as well as operational and strategic banking experience at Absa and audit experience at Nedbank & FirstRand. Charles is a Chartered Accountant and has a B.Com (Hons, Accounting, RAU) and an Advanced Diploma in Banking Law (UJ).
