Dr Anuja Joshi joined SBGS in August 2022 as Investment Analyst - Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals. Anuja has been covering South Africa’s healthcare and pharmaceutical sector for nearly five years now, at both Peresec and at ABSA Capital. Anuja achieved 3rd and 1st rankings respectively on a ‘commission paid’ and ‘unweighted AuM’ basis in the 2022 Financial Mail Ranking the Analysts Survey. Before covering Healthcare, Anuja was part of a top-rated ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) Research team at Peresec. Anuja is a national of India and holds a bachelor’s in veterinary science from GB Pant University (India) and an MBA-equivalent PGDRM from the Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB, India).
