Career Highlights

Ya’eesh joined SBG Securities in January 2017, and covers the Technology and Media sector coupled with co-coverage of the SA Retail sector. Previously, he spent three years on the Standard Bank CA Programme where he gained experience in several divisions of the bank, including retail banking, corporate banking and group functions. His final year on the CA programme included a year-long stint in equity research where he assisted with sector coverage (Food Producers) and investor education as part of IPO processes. Ya’eesh is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BBusSci Finance, Accounting and Economics from UCT, where he went on to complete his PGDA.
